Employee data protection is the set of controls and legal duties that keep staff personal, salary and bank information confidential, accurate and lawfully processed. HRBD protects the employee and payroll data it handles for companies in Bangladesh, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 and the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006.
Running payroll and HR means holding some of the most sensitive data a company has: salaries, bank accounts, national ID numbers and employment contracts. HRBD protects that employee data for companies in Bangladesh, from businesses that outsource their payroll to foreign companies employing local staff. We keep access limited to the people who run your payroll, use the data only for the work you engage us for, and handle it in line with Bangladesh data protection and labour law rather than a generic template. This is protection of the employee data we handle for you, not a cybersecurity audit of your own systems. Because the same team also runs your payroll tax filing and HR outsourcing, the data stays in one controlled place rather than passing between several providers.
Whether you outsource payroll, employ staff in Bangladesh from abroad or are growing without an HR data policy, HRBD keeps your employee data handled properly alongside the payroll and HR work behind it.
Salary and bank data handled under written confidentiality terms.
Employee records kept in line with Bangladesh data law.
Clear rules for who sees employee data and why.
We restrict salary, tax and bank details to the team that runs your payroll.
We keep NID, contact and contract records accurate and access-controlled.
We give access by role and remove it when that role ends.
We tell you promptly if your employee data is affected and help you respond.
Employee data protection is the set of controls and legal duties that keep staff personal, salary and bank information confidential, accurate and lawfully processed. HRBD applies it to the employee data it handles for companies in Bangladesh.
HRBD handles the data needed to run payroll and HR, such as names, NID details, contracts, salary, tax deductions and bank details. We use it only for the work you engage us for.
The main laws are the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 for personal data, the Cyber Security Act, 2026 for cyber security, and the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006 for employee records. HRBD handles employee data with these laws in view.
Only the HRBD team members who run your payroll and HR can see it. Access is given by role and removed when a person no longer needs it.
We tell you promptly, contain the issue, work out which records were affected, and support you with any notice the law requires.
No. HRBD protects the employee and payroll data it handles for you, but we do not audit, test or certify your own IT systems. For that you need a specialist security provider.
No. This page gives general information, not legal advice. For advice on your own obligations under Bangladesh data law, speak to a lawyer or see our legal consultation service.
You tell us what employee data you need handled, we agree the scope and written confidentiality terms with no obligation, and we set a start point, so you know what you are getting before we begin.
Trusting a provider with employee data means trusting them with information your staff never expected to leave the company. HRBD treats it that way: written confidentiality terms, access limited by role, and handling that follows Bangladesh law rather than a generic policy. We are honest about the limits too. We protect the employee and payroll data we handle for you, but we do not audit or certify your own IT systems, and nothing on this page is legal advice; for your own obligations under data law, our legal consultation team or your lawyer is the right place to start.
When you contact HRBD, we agree what employee data we will handle and the written terms that cover it, with no obligation. From there we map the data, restrict access and protect the records, alongside your HR outsourcing and payroll work.
Employee data is used only for the work you engage us for, under written terms.
A named team owns how your data is handled and answers to you for it.
We follow Bangladesh data protection and labour law, not a generic template.
Records stay complete and retrievable for audits and employee requests.
HRBD protects the employee data that payroll and HR work depends on, from salary and bank details to personal records, access and retention. Most employee data problems come from too many people seeing too much, not from sophisticated attacks. The tables below show what our data protection covers and the laws it works within.

|---|---|
| Payroll data | Salary, tax deductions and bank details |
| Personal records | NID, contact details and employment contracts |
| Access control | Role-based access, removed when a role ends |
| Retention | Records kept as long as the law requires, then disposed of safely |
| Breach response | Prompt notice to you and support with next steps |
| Area | Law or authority |
